Yasmine Tuitt,

Defending Mango Eating Champion!

  • Where do I park?
We will have parking lots designated for parking across from the St. Croix Blue House and nearby Church. Parking will be $5 per vehicle. We will have air-conditioned passenger buses available for transportation to the Garden entry gate for those that do not wish to walk from the parking area. Buses will run from 10:30am to 5:30pm. Parking for those with a handicap placard will be available inside our main gated area. Cars without a handicap placard will not be allowed entry.
  • What are the event hours?
Mango Melee will be from 11am to 5pm. We will have workshops and entertainment throughout the day – sure to check out our event schedule for more details!
  • How many vendors will be there?
We will have over 100+ local craft and food vendors featured! Be sure to check out our vendor map and vendor list so you can find your favorite vendor easily during the event!
  • How much is admission?
You can buy your tickets HERE. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children from 5-12, and for children under 5 it is free. This is the Garden’s largest annual fundraising effort and the revenue from admissions goes towards our general operating expenses throughout the year. You can purchase tickets in advance to skip the line the day off through Eventbrite. If tickets are purchased in advance, you will be able to pick up your wristband when you arrive and present your ID.
  • What kind of activities will you have?
In addition to the great vendor booths, we will have stations set up by The Children’s Museum, Jungle James and his petting zoo, and educational workshops throughout the day!
  • Where are the Garden bars located?
We will have THREE amazing bars to support the Garden, all sponsored by Cruzan Rum! There will be one in the Bodine Visitor Center, one by the Great Hall lawn, and one behind the Great Hall near the coral fountain. Be sure to check out the event map for their exact locations.
  • What time is the Mango Eating contest?
The Mango Eating contest will be hosted at 4pm on the lawn of the Great Hall. We will have prizes for both the adult and children’s contest winners.
