St. George Village Botanical Garden Awarded Level 1 Accreditation

The Gardens has been awarded a Level 1 Accreditation by The ArbNet Arboretum Accreditation Program and The Morton Arboretum, for achieving particular standards of professional practices deemed important for arboreta and botanic gardens globally.

Through its gardens and collections, the site serves as a center for education to better understand, not only the island’s botanical heritage, but also the horticultural potential for contemporary gardening in the Virgin Islands.
